Exercising Your Character 2021

Join us on April 9 for 90 minutes of dancing, singing and motivational messages from famous athletes, coaches and role models. If your class has not attended the Exercising Your Character (EYC) event before, they are in for an experience they will never forget! Hy-Vee has sponsored Exercising Your Character since 2007 in cooperation with The Robert D. and Billie Ray Center at Drake University, an organization that promotes civility through character development at all stages in life. As part of the event, dancers lead students through fun, upbeat songs that get them moving and complete 30 minutes of aerobic activity! This is a great benefit if you are participating in the Go the Distance Day program as these 30 minutes will count toward your goal.

Event Benefits:

  • Registration for the event is free.
  • Bus transportation allowance will be provided one week prior to the event.
  • All registered participants will receive a t-shirt prior to the event.
  • Following the event, a free lunch will be provided to all attendees as they return to their buses.
